Why can’t my student or I log into the program?
Please make sure that you and your students are properly rostered in the course. If you are using ClassLink or Clever to log in, please consult with IT support at your district to make sure that the student has the Language Tree Online application in his or her profile.
If you are doing self-rostering, make sure you follow the correct steps to enroll users.
I'm rostered, but I still can't log in.
User names and passwords are case-sensitive. Remember to use lower case only when entering your user name.
Also, check to see if you are using the correct URL. If you are self-rostering, the URL will be https://languagetreeonline.com/courses.
What if I forgot my password or username?
If you sign in directly through our URL and not Clever or ClassLink, you can reset your password by clicking on the Forgotten Your Username or Password link on the login screen. You will be prompted to enter your user name or email and we will send over a link to reset your password.
Why can’t my student move on to the next lesson in the module?
In order to progress to the next lesson, the student has to get at least 80% of the questions correct in the interactive exercises. This prevents students from jumping around the program without completing the previous lesson or fully grasping the concepts taught.
My students are getting an error page after they submit an answer.
Try to refresh the page and see if that solves the problem. If your student can reproduce this error page, please send a screenshot, and let us know where you were in the course preceding the receipt of this error page and the approximate time when this occurred so that we can troubleshoot.
The program is running slow / the video is continually buffering.
Poor performance is usually due to local connection issues. Make sure that the classroom or home has adequate Wi-Fi bandwidth for supporting streaming media. Please contact your district IT department to inquire how you can get better Wi-Fi performance.
